When the owner approached us to create a prohibition logo for a new restaurant and bar in Binghamton, N.Y., this was only fitting that it’s our home town. The restaurant was any typical restaurant on State Street, it’s was a hideaway to enjoy a cozy space and glass chandelier lighting to place you back in time. When looking back to when the prohibition was happening, bar didn’t have signs, they had secret passwords and names for drinking locations – hence 205 Dry has a nice ring. We needed to design a logo and a website to match the look and feel of that era. So, we got to work looking at the small details of the building and creating many old-styled logos which was enlightening. With the brand complete, we put the final touches on the website to complete the 2 phase project – now let’s celebrate with a drink!
